HOW TO SUBMIT RESEARCH
The following is an excellent example of how to prepare your research. This material was provided by Bob Gregory, one of the most meticulous researchers I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Bob has researched nearly all of my British transfer sheets and because of the thoroughness of his research combined with the clarity and simplicity of his presentation we can convert his research into finished transfers in very little time.

DOCUMENT YOUR SUBJECT
1. Give your subject a name. What would you expect this sheet of transfers to be named if you saw it in the Archer catalog?
2. Provide a descriptive overview in text. This is where you should give me a quick history lesson and overview of the markings we will be reproducing.
3. Show me the real thing. You should include as many photographs of the original markings as is practical so I will be able to get a feel for their design and placement on the vehicle.

SHOW DETAILS
Provide close up pictures of each of the markings we will include on the transfer sheet. Notice how Bob has included a couple different Rhino Formation Signs to show the subtle differences in this obviously hand painted insignia.
If there are numbers or letters involved, a photo of each should be included but it's not mandatory. I will be able to match any missing ones.
Notice how Bob has included several photos showing the many different styles of numbers. Compare the wartime photos to the illustrations and you'll see a big difference.
Also notice how Bob has included dimensions for each marking - the bold text.

IN CONCLUSION
Now that I know what everything looks like, what color it is, and what size it is I'll need to know how many of each to put on the sheet.
Notice how meticulously Bob goes through every marking, giving the quantity and size of everything.
IMPORTANT: The cost of a sheet of Archer transfers is determined by the number of colors and the size of the sheet. Archer's approach is to offer small sheets to keep prices and waste down as much as practical. Please plan your project accordingly.
