US softskin "gas paint" stars 1/72 During the D-Day
invasion of Europe U.S. softskins had a special chemical paint
applied to the void areas of the national insignia on the hood.
The purpose of this paint was to detect a gas attack. The paint
turned different colors depending on the type of gas. For: GMC CCKW, Diamond
